Five Water Bottle Recipes You Need In Your Life

Incase you hadn’t already realised, our water bottles are for more than just great Instagram material (but please keep those beauties coming). And they can be used for way more than just water or juice!

I have recently been experimenting with new recipes to top up your water bottles with! Researching some of the great recipes out there online and testing out combinations of flavours and nutritional content so you don’t have to. Only the best for our B On 1 family. The following recipes are great for those morning commutes, weekend walks or any situation really.

1.Strawberry, Basil and Cucumber.

This is my go to Sunday morning beverage right now. I head straight to the kitchen to whip up one of these beauties. We all know and love strawberries, aswell as being delicious they’re filled up with some lovely vitamin C, anti oxidants and variety of important vitamins. Give this one a go for a light and refreshing start to your morning.

Ingredients:

2-3 Basil leaves, chopped. (Normal basil in your cupboard will work, just don’t go overboard, a light sprinkle will do).

2 Strawberries, sliced in half.

3-4 slices of Cucumber thinly sliced.

Ice

Water

Combine all ingredients in your bottle, give it a stir for ten seconds, leave to set for five minutes then enjoy.

2. Pineapple and Ginger twist

For all of you who do not already know, Ginger is life. Stomach pains or not feeling great? Ginger. Nausea? Ginger. Muscle pain or soreness? Ginger. Cholesterol levels a bit too high? Ginger.

I think you get the picture, but Ginger is such an underrated ingredient! Filled with anti-inflammatory goodness, anti oxidants and a whole host of vitamins and minerals. Plus its available year round in the fresh produce section.

Ingredients:

1 cup of fresh pineapple pieces.

1 inch (roughly) piece of ginger, thinly sliced NOT grated.

Water / Sparkling water if you’re a bit under the weather, thank me later.

Combine ingredients in bottle, fill up with water and refrigerate until cold. When ready to be consumed add some ice.

3. Apple Cider cleanser

No, not that kind of cider. Sorry. Apple cider vinegar is becoming more and more popular due to its undeniable health benefits and its nutritional content. But what I like most about this recipe in particular, its really been helping out my fizzy drink cravings. Try this one out instead of your daily diet fizzy drink, it’ll satisfy the need for the bubbles and your body and teeth will thank you later down the line.

Ingredients:

6 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

Juice of two lemons

A dash of Stevia

Sparkling water

Add the apple cider vinegar to the water, add the lemon and finally the stevia, stir and refrigerate until its cold.

4.Healthy Mojito Mix

Yet another cruel trick in the title, there is no alcohol to be found in this recipe. Sorry. Again.

This is the Friday morning special. A flavour filled treat to get you ready for another patched up Friday night of adventure and fun.

Ingredients

A small handful of mint, chopped

5 thin slices of lime

Water, sparkling also works a treat.

Combine ingredients in your bottle, refrigerate and add some ice when ready to be consumed.

And there you have it, 4 different yet delightful water bottle recipes for you to try. Stay tuned as we bring you more fresh content much like this and plenty more recipes in the future.
