It's like going through the motions of preparing a healthy meal before actually cooking it; if there's no plan in place, then chances are good that we'll end up eating whatever comes first (or second) out of our fridge—and that could mean anything from frozen pizzas to peanut butter on toast, it's tasty but it's likely not getting you to your goal.

3. Get Physical
If you're looking for a way to relieve stress, look no further than physical activity. It's one of the most effective, healthy ways to release tension and improve your mood.
